RAC 215E GPS System is an excellent route finder with a large 4.3 
inch display to offer 2D or 3D mapping. It offers touch screen facility and has a smart night view option which enhances the screen display by changing the brightness of the screen as per light availability. Full maps of the UK and Northern Ireland are included.
The unit provides thousands of points of interest and you can search for them with ease or store most desired spots and addresses. Step by step voice guidance about the routes is given by the system. It allows planning of routes by estimating the arrival time and distance yet to cover. It also has automatic re-routing feature. This RAC GPS system gives alerts for fixed speed cameras. You can select the quickest, shortest or most economical route to your destination. It offers an SMS style fuzzy search of addresses as well. The system also enables 7 digit full postcode search or search by address. The automatic zoom provides a detailed view of complex road systems. It has an address book, timer, trip calculator and voice recognition feature.
The RAC 215E Sat Nav Unit comes with a car cradle too. It also provides external speakers for giving voice instructions. It has a 64 MB SDRAM for storage of maps and files. Manual, maps software, navigation kit, 12 V car adapter, protective cover and vehicle mounting are the other accessories supplied with this GPS system. A built in lithium ion battery with a life of 3 hours gives the necessary power for the system. It has dimensions of 126 mm x 90 mm x 23 mm and a weight of 226 grams.
