The map details of the various places are stored in the 2 GB flash memory of the device of which 1 GB is for personal use. All you have to do is just feed in the address of your destination and the device will guide you to the place with clear and loud voice instructions as well as visual instructions. The screen of the device is a 2.7 inch TFT touch screen that supports a QVGA resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and 65K colours. The speaker through which the instructions you hear is a built in speaker of the device.

The other benefit of using the Mio H610 GPS system is that it can give you information about the road works, accidents and traffic jams with the help of the TMC antenna that is sold separately with the device. With the support of this you can find a new route to your destination point. The device can also give you information about the various points of interest that include ATMs, petrol stations, gas stations, hospitals, clubs, restaurants and more.

This new satellite navigation system also comes integrated with a media player that can play MP3 songs and it also features a lot of games that keeps you entertained. The photo viewer that the device supports allows you to seen images.

The new Mio H610 sat nav system runs on Windows CE.Net 4.2 operating system with a processor having a speed of 400MHz. GPS antenna of the device is the 20 channel SiRF star III receiver that pulls the satellite signals very efficiently. The device has a total weight of 110 grams and is powered by a 1300 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. Its dimensions are defined as 85 x 59 x 18.8 mm which makes it really very compact enough to fit into the palm of your hands.
