Magellan Triton 300 Sat Nav Unit is enclosed in a rubber armoured impact-resistant plastic case which is water resistant with the standard IPX-7. The base maps consists of Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and worldwide geographic boundaries.

It has an internal built in memory of 10MB. The antenna of this product is built in with multidirectional patch. There are nine direct access keys on the keypad. The supported operating range is 14 to 140°F (-10 to 60°C).
This system is equipped with SiRF Star III receiver which showcases 20 channels and which is enabled with WAAS/EGNOS. The acquisition time for hot climate is 20 seconds, cold is 60 seconds and for initial it is 2 minutes. The update rate is one per second.
