Garmin has introduced a GPS unit suited for marine users and that is the new Garmin trekking/marine GPSMAP 76CSx Hand held GPS System. Developed 
with the most contemporary technology and design, though this device looks simple, it can be your best travel companion especially while you go on for trekking or on the marine.
GPS performance
The receiver integrated in the device is the latest high sensitivity GPS receiver by SiRF. The noteworthy feature to be mentioned is that it is WAAS, EGNOS and MSAS Compatible. The device comes with a quad helix receiving antenna with remote antenna capability for enhanced signal reception.

The physical aspects of the Garmin GPSMAP 76CSx GPS System is also needs to be mentioned. It has a LED Backlit display and a keypad that is very easy to use.
