The Garmin GPSMAP 3006C Marine GPS System measures 26 cm in width, 8.3 cm in depth and 16.5 cm in height. This stylish satellite navigation system supports 12 channel receiver that receives signals from 12 satellites simultaneously. In addition it supports SBAS WAAS and EGNOS. Besides, it is DGPS Ready. The grids supported by this marine GPS system include German, UTM, Irish, MGRS, Swiss, Swedish, Finnish, Lat/Lon, UPS, User, Loran TDs, British, New Zealand, Maidenhead, Taiwan, Dutch and Qatar.
Further, this sleek GPS system has an accuracy position of 15 m and a velocity 0.05 m/sec. It updates at 1/sec. The cold acquisition is 45 sec and the 15 sec in warm conditions. It provides you 1000 waypoints, 15 tracks, 10000 Tracklog pints, 50 routes and 300 waypoints per route. The trip computer provides TracBack, average speed, maximum speed, trip timer, trip distance, sunrise/sunset times and sun/moon positions. The special GPS features supported by the device include Tide Tab, bearing, distance, elevation, CTS (Course to Steer), MOB (Man Overboard), XTE (Cross Track Error), VMG (Velocity Made Good), ETE (Estimated Time Enroute) and time/date.
The splendid Garmin GPSMAP 3006C GPS System consists of a 6.4 inches TFT display with 640 x 480 pixels ensuring sharp image quality. In addition it consists of a built in IR remote receive. The screen is treated with anti glare coating to prevent glare from light. Besides it supports Garmin data card.
Other features alarm, display illumination and water proof. It comes complete with Protective cover, mounting bracket, power/data cable and A/V cable. The operating temperature range is -15 degrees to 50 degrees C.
