The new Blaupunkt Lucca 3.5 Satellite Navigation System is a portable navigation system with anti-glare facility. It is offered with a high-contrast 3.5″ TFT colour touch screen in 4:3 format and it has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. As it is installed with a centrality atlas III dual core 400 MHz processor, the navigation is extremely fast with GPS quick finder.
It provides street level mapping for the UK/ Ireland including new 100% Ireland coverage and major roads of Europe pre-flashed apart from street level mapping for further 21 W-EU countries included on DVD.
It has an automatic switch from day to night mode. Off map navigation is possible by using a digital compass. Download of new/ personalized POIs is also supported by the device. There are POI notes in route guidance. It shows display of arrival time, time to destination and distance to destination. It helps in route planning with several stopovers. It is equipped with SD, SDHC, and MMC card reader to play navigation data. MP3/WMA/OGG music files or JPEG picture files from MMC/SD card are also viable.
This GPS system accommodates a music player & photo viewer. There is a pin code for preventing theft as well. The driver assistance functions are optimal route, integrated TMC receiver, TMC for traffic congestion warnings, display of speed limits with visual and acoustic speed limit warnings, error-tolerant input of city names.
Destination input includes address/ house number, street name/ street number/ district, postal code entry. Intersection input includes POI (category, place, surroundings of current position). The destination input is via map. You also have a ‘go home’ function from anywhere.
The route guidance systems are 2D or 3D map view, voice output, announcement of highway number, arrow mode, map mode, automatic zoom and dynamic route guidance. The provided route calculations are short/ quick/ optimal route, avoid highway/ ferry/ toll road/ by season, 10 stopovers, adaptive adjustment of car profiles.
There are twenty destination places in memory and it includes 100 address. It has an internal 1 GB flash memory. The operating temperature lies between -20 °C to 60 °C whereas the storage temperature is between -30 °C to 70 °C. The battery runtime in navigation mode is up to 3 hours. The operating voltage range is 10.8 – 16 V/DC. It has a 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack.
It weighs 195g. The dimensions are 122.0 x 2.2 x 9.5 cm. Black and silver are the available colours.
